Hello my name is Jordan Casper ,
I am a Clinical Mental Health Counseling student at Grand View University, working toward licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Illinois.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Science, Technology, and Society from the University of Michigan.
Although I am still developing my clinical orientation, I am interested in Person-Centered Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), integrating empathy and reflection with practical strategies that support emotional growth and meaningful change.
I strive to create a validating, judgment-free space where clients can strengthen their voice, reconnect with a deeper sense of self-worth and purpose, and build resilience by developing inner strength and self-trust as the foundation for long-term wellness.
I’m especially interested in working with adolescents and young adults navigating identity development, anxiety, self-esteem challenges, relationship patterns, and major life transitions. My background as a GSRP teacher deepened my understanding of how our early environments and attachment shape our identity, communication, and coping.
