Hello my name is Danielle Williams ,

My humble and challenging early experiences shaped my journey toward a profession dedicated to supporting marginalized groups, including at-risk youth and individuals in prison. Being reminded of how my life has been transformed keeps me grounded in my faith, guiding all that I do as mission-driven, faith-based, and God-led. I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a master’s degree in human services, and I am currently pursuing a second master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling along with a PsyD in Clinical Psychology.

My professional experience includes working as a child therapist for minors in DCFS care, serving as a senior public service administrator for the state of Illinois, and working as an Independent Living Advocate and Assistant Technology Coordinator for persons with disabilities. I have also remained committed to humanitarian work through continued community service and my membership in Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.

As I continue my journey, I actively engage in addressing social inequalities and global issues impacting underserved communities. I focus on trauma-informed, gender-responsive approaches for marginalized populations and remain deeply dedicated to helping others heal from their own traumatic experiences.
